Work alongside the rest of your team to prep, layout, and operate the required equipment needed to groove runways, cut concrete/asphalt, and apply both surface and inlaid pavement markings.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.

Required (Minimum) Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
18 years of age or older.
1 year minimum experience in Methyl Methacrylate pavement markings.
1 year minimum experience in Low Voc Traffic Paint pavement markings.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Experienced in the construction industry and knowledge of skills specific to road and runway job execution.
Ability to get along with other people - Team player.
Preferred Well versed in MMA and other traffic markings systems.

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent walking with/next to equipment while working.
Must be physically able to be on your feet, standing, walking, and working on hard concrete and tire floors for full shifts.
Must be able to lift and carry 50# repeatedly, safely, and without unusual strain.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Job is typically performed on a road or runway project.
Travel will be required.
Work in outdoor inclement weather is required.
Work is conducted on and around equipment that circulates and holds hazardous material.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No immediate supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base.
Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
