Pay:
Competitive salary, regular salary increases. Paid Time Off:

1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory. Duties may include, but are not limited too:
Act as Chair of the Facility HRO Work Group. Communicate the VISN HRO Strategic Plan to the Facility HRO Work Group. Facilitate activities consistent with the VISN HRO Strategic Plan within the facility. Provide regular guidance and oversight to the Facility HRO Workgroup. Lead formal meetings with all members of the Facility HRO workgroup Communicate regularly with the VISN and ensure attendance of the Facility HRO Workgroup at monthly teleconference meetings conducted by the VISN. Participate in Facility site visits conducted by the VISN and/or the National Center for Patient Safety (NCPS) to review and promote HRO activities. Ensure Facility participation in the VHA Patient Safety Program as outlined by NCPS and VHA Handbook 1050.01. At a minimum ensures:
A robust RCA program A defined method to monitor and improve safety culture Ensure that Clinical Team Training (CTT) Program requirements are met at the Facility as prescribed by the NCPS CTT Letter of Commitment. Ensure the ongoing review of pertinent data related to the Patient Safety Program and HRO activities to include but not limited to:
JPSR and SPOT data base reports NCPS Quarterly Reports NCPS Patient Safety Culture Survey (PSCS) Patient Safety Assessment Tool (PSAT) Patient Safety Program Site Visit Reports All Employ Survey (AES) Employee Engagement Survey Inpatient Evaluation Center (IPEC) Reports Joint Commission Survey Reports Ensure the implementation and sustainment of a Just Culture within the Facility. Ensure oversight of HRO initiatives, outcomes, and best practices within the Facility. Ensure the delivery of ongoing HRO educational initiatives. Facilitate leadership engagement in HRO principles, and values activities. Communicate, and reports regularly with Facility top leadership on the status of HRO activities. Breaks down silos between services to ensure development of strong patient care processes. Works with QM, PSM, SR to identify vulnerabilities and develop processes and programs that advance Patient Care across the continuum. Works with Clinical Teams to develop and implement strategies for improved patient safety and patient care. Puts Veterans as the focus of all process innovation and change. Shares lessons learned from group to group. Assists the Medical Center in implementing priority sections of the HRO Toolkit. Other duties as assigned and pertain to the HRO implementation initiative. Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant:
The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). In cases of graduates of foreign schools of professional nursing, possession of current, full, active and unrestricted registration will meet the requirement of graduation from an approved school of professional nursing. OR The completion of coursework equivalent to a nursing degree in a MSN Bridge Program that qualifies for professional nursing registration constitutes the completion of an approved course of study of professional nursing. Students should submit the certificate of professional nursing to sit for the NCLEX to the VA along with a copy of the MSN transcript. (Reference VA Handbook 5005, Appendix G6) OR In cases of graduates of foreign schools of professional nursing, possession of a current, full, active and unrestricted registration will meet the requirement for graduation from an approved school of professional nursing. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field with BSN 1-3 years experience Grade Determinations:
The following criteria must be met in determining the grade assignment of candidates, and if appropriate, the level within a grade:
Nurse I Level I - An Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing, with no additional nursing practice/experience required. Nurse I Level II - An ADN or Diploma in Nursing and approximately 1 year of nursing practice/experience; OR an ADN or Diploma in Nursing and a bachelor's degree in a related field with no additional nursing practice/experience; OR a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) with no additional nursing practice/experience. Nurse I Level III - An ADN or Diploma in Nursing and approximately 2-3 years of nursing practice/experience; OR an ADN or Diploma in Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in a related field and approximately 1-2 years of nursing practice/experience; OR a BSN with approximately 1-2 years of nursing practice/experience; OR a Master's degree in nursing (MSN) or related field with a BSN and no additional nursing practice/experience. Nurse II - A BSN with approximately 2-3 years of nursing practice/experience; OR ADN or Diploma in Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in a related field and approximately 2-3 year's of nursing practice/experience; OR a Master's degree in nursing or related field with a BSN and approximately 1-2 year's of nursing practice/experience; OR a Doctoral degree in nursing or meets basic requirements for appointment and has doctoral degree in a related field with no additional nursing practice/experience required. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
