Deputy Administrator

As a Deputy Administrator, you will:
Provide broad technical and administrative supervision to Area Office Directors and Native American Program Specialist in the implementation of the day-to-day operations of the Area Office. Represent the Administrator and HUD in meetings and conferences on matters relating to applicable programs based on contacts with tribal officials, tribally designated housing entities (TDHE) tribally designated housing entities (TDHE), the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Indian Health Service, as well as other public and private officials in connection with Native American programs. Provide extensive integration and coordination of applicable programs through frequent contact and discussions with the:
Field Office Directors, Program Directors located in the Area Office, AO Grants Evaluation (GE) and Grants Management (GM) Division Directors and staff, the National GE and GM Directors, and the AO Administrator. Independently plan, coordinate, assemble, and disseminate periodic reports on the HUD Regional and ONAP Management Action Plans, and the Department's Strategic Plan that is relevant to the AO. Experience:
For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Supervising staff responsible for providing technical assistance and/or evaluating tribal housing programs; AND - Developing relationships and involvement among tribal groups to help resolve housing program, grant, and community development issues with Federal, state or local agencies, or the private sector; AND - Analyzing policies and procedures for efficiencies and making recommendations. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.Time After Competitive Appointment:
Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
