The Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer helps guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resource functions, policies, and procedures for the agency according to agency policy, employment laws and best practices in human resource management. Areas of responsibility include planning, staffing, development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and EEO compliance.
This position works under general direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer and has support responsibility to other managers. The Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer is a member of the senior management team.
Education and
Experience:
Required: Bachelors Degree in management, business or human resources. Minimum of five to seven years exempt level management experience. Valid Alaska driver license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, continuous use of a vehicle, TB vaccination/health screening, and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
Preferred: Master's degree in management, business or human resources.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
