Real Estate Telephone Loan Center Manager
Alaska's largest credit union is hiring a Real Estate Telephone Loan Center Manager in Alaska. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing real estate loan production and origination of mail, telephone and web mortgage applications.

SUMMARY
Job Description:
Manage the operation of the Real Estate Telephone Loan Center including hiring, training, staff development, evaluation and scheduling.
Ensure timely and efficient handling of member calls regarding real estate and mortgage loans. Ensure processing of all real estate applications is handled accurately, completely and in a timely manner, satisfying all established program requirements.
Ensure the efficient, timely and accurate origination and processing of mortgage loans received via mail, web or telephone that do not choose to meet with an originator.
Ensure real estate loan underwriting done in the department is consistent with all applicable regulations and established credit union policies and guidelines.
Ensure adequate training and support is provided to sales units promoting real estate loan products.
Promote Alaska USA real estate programs and make recommendations regarding changes in real estate and mortgage loan programs and products.
Promote the cross sale of credit union services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Five years in real estate lending with at least three years of experience at the originator level and at least one year experience in processing.
Three years of management experience.
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of real estate lending including all applicable laws and regulations, as well as investor loan approval and processing requirements.
Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills and proven personnel management abilities.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in business administration with advanced industry courses in real estate lending including knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations.
Five years of real estate lending experience with at least three years at the Mortgage Loan Originator level.
Advanced industry courses in real estate lending recommended.
