Job Title: Northrim Investment Services Relationship Banker
Location: Anchorage, AK
Status: Exempt
Job Duties & Functions: As a Northrim Investment Services (NIS) Relationship Banker, the primary focus is on retention, growth, and acquisition of customers within the NIS book of business. This position will spend significant time contacting clients and prospects for relationship building, analyzing customer needs, providing advisory services, and maintaining required and accurate records to ensure the ongoing growth and performance of their investment portfolio. The NIS Relationship Banker will have advanced sales, investment and customer service skills in order to professionally represent NIS and Northrim Bank.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. State of Alaska Life Insurance License and FINRA Series 65 or 66 required. If currently holding a Series 7, must obtain a Series 65 and State of Alaska Life Insurance License within 3 months of hire
Five (5) years of customer service experience to include minimum of two (2) years of proven investment sales experience and two (2) years financial institution required. Additional higher education may be considered as equivalent work experience.
Highly complex analytical ability required to provide comparative information regarding the Elliott Cove portfolios and other investment vehicles customer may currently maintain.
Must be able to analyze financial statements, investments statement, and tax returns and determine customers risk tolerance for NIS products and services.
Must have an advanced knowledge of investment products and services and the ability to assess and analyze financial conditions and industry trends.
Must be able to complete work assignments with limited instructions and supervision
Able to work independently without supervision.
Proficient use of standard office machinery such as PC, printer and fax/copier. Have an intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Visual, speaking and auditory abilities required.
Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in written form, both in person and over the phone.
Must be able to provide own transportation for outside customer meetings.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
