The Shop Steward compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities: Reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority.
The Shop Steward represents themselves as confident, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional with customers and within the community.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Ensure shop work areas are clean and neat and that materials and tools stay in the appropriate place.
o Coordinate with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material status.
o Locate and distributes materials to specified production areas, manually or using handcart, hand-truck, or forklift.
o Records and maintains perpetual inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed, manually or using computer.
o Compiles and maintains records, such as material inventory records, production records, and timecards, manually or using computer.
o May assist/coordinate with others to expedite transfer of materials from stock area to production areas.
o Examine material received, verify part numbers, and check discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts.
o Compare work ticket specifications to material used at work stations to verify appropriate assignment.
o Drive truck to Supply Houses and outlying work areas to check status of orders or to deliver materials.
o Maintain and secure all project information accurately
o Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience/
Qualifications:
o Previous work in Electrical Supply or Construction materials management a plus.
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in interacting with customers in-person, phone, email, etc.
o Must be energetic team player with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
o Personal Determination and Resolve with a willingness to embrace daily challenges head-on
o Demonstrated ability to multi-task
o Strong personal management and personal execution skills
o Experience working in the Construction field
o Handle more than one project and task in unison effectively.
o Very detailed and organized.
o Demonstrated experience in delivering system implementation, software support, network design or installation, etc. is required
o Thorough knowledge and understanding of intrusion systems, electronic access control, CCTV, IP video and surveillance systems
o Strong technical skills and understanding of technology and system components including software, networking, and systems development.
o Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier
o Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug screen
o Must be able to pass a criminal background check
o Must be able to complete a vigorous fit-for-duty assessment with lifting up to 50 pounds and a series of assessment exercises
Compensation:
o Top of Market Hourly Rate-DOE
o Health Insurance
o Retirement
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
