We have a need for an Epic Cogito Data Warehouse (CDW) Specialist. Required Skills/Experience Include:
- Provide expertise with the implementation and assessment of Epic Cogito Data Warehouse (CDW)
- Validate data lineage and completeness of data from within Epic
- Design and develop foreign system (non-Epic) data loads
- Assess completeness of data content to support KPI reporting and dashboard development
- Assist with development of project plans to create clinical, financial and operational reporting
- Works as directed by Project Manager
- To provide data expertise and consulting services to the various user departments while ensuring data and reporting integrity
- Acts as a primary contributor to the design and implementation of system solutions based on customer and/or organizational requirements.
- Provides expert report consulting services to hospital-wide management and other applicable users in attaining needed Clarity data in a useable way to help improve patient safety, staff/physician productivity, hospital revenue and/or required compliances
- Create design specifications for new reports and identify and validate the appropriate technological solutions for various reporting needs
Qualifications: The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years experience writing operational and analytical reports in a Healthcare environment using a variety of toolsets.
Candidates must have experience using Cogito Data Warehouse (CDW), Clarity, Reporting Work Bench, Radar and Chronicles.
SQL (MSSQL & Oracle), Crystal Reports (Universes) and SAP Business Objects experience required.
Oracle and SQL Database management and performance tuning a plus
Epic Certifications required.
