Fidelis IT has an immediate need for IT Field Systems Specialists in the following locations:
Seattle, WA - (2) positions
Portland, OR - (1) position
San Diego, CA - (1) position
Anchorage, AK - (1) position
Projected Start Date: 11/1/2014
Location: See Above (Local Airport Location)
Contract Duration: Long Term
Travel: Position may require 25%-50% travel to Seattle, Portland, Anchorage, and San Diego to provide support to other team members on an as needed basis.
Security: Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Screening. Must have the ability to obtain an Airport Access Badge

The Field Systems Specialist I is responsible for the installation and maintenance of all information and communications systems, regardless of assigned location. This role requires a solid understanding of an enterprise computing system. This includes but not limited to: physical hardware, software configurations, virtual components, networks, telephony, and radio communications.
In addition, the Field Systems Specialist I is expected to regularly participate in small and medium, cross-divisional technology projects. This will necessitate the ability to communicate with management and provide oversight to peers in order to implement technology projects.
At our core, the Field Systems Specialist I will be the face of IT to our internal and external customers. This is accomplished by performing the following duties:

Install and provide first and second-level support of information, communication, and airport-related systems
Ensure reported problems are resolved in a timely manner. Provide follow up on all outstanding incidents until fully resolved.
Provide technical assistance to end-users in support of desktop computers, software and other supported systems
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all supported systems and physical locations
Assist contractors and vendors with the implementations and problem resolutions of systems for which you are responsible
Provide technical assistance to companion work groups in support of projects and maintenance ensuring good interdepartmental relations
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively
Make consistent progress towards achieving the Field Systems Specialist II position
Demonstrate an increasing ability to apply the general skill set
Shift, weekend, and after-hours on call work required
Other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Site Supervisor
Field Technician / Field Systems Specialist / IT Field Systems Specialist / IT Systems Specialist / Field Systems Specialist 1
Minimum 2 year technical degree or position-specific technical certifications. May substitute direct airline experience in lieu of technical requirements.
Minimum 2 years work experience implementing and/or supporting infrastructure computing systems
Minimum 2 years of documented IT experience
Experience supporting multiple technical platforms (Windows, MAC OS, VMware, Altiris) a plus.
Experience participating in small and medium cross-division technology projects.
Proven experience learning new technologies, processes, and methodologies quickly.
Demonstrated customer service.
Project Management skill a plus.
Experience with telephony and radio communications a plus.
The ability to lift/stand/bend/climb in order to do job function.
Requires traveling 50% of the time.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
