Key Role:
Provide maintenance and support of multiple Alaskan Command (ALCOM) video teleconferencing capabilities for a Joint client. Provide facilitation and presentations support, conference room scheduling and preparation, audio-visual maintenance, and support for nine conference rooms and two operations centers. Support operations, scheduling, organizing, and execution of conferences and audio-visual equipment in the operations centers and perform programming upgrades to equipment on the premises and new equipment purchased by the government. Support Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) VTC hardware and software to provide a standards-compliant VTC system. Maintain and upgrade the existing audio-visual equipment and new hardware that the government will furnish, including video walls and display matrices and support programming code changes between multiple pieces of vendor specific audio-visual equipment. Provide analysis and follow-on execution of security measures to provide secure conference capabilities within all meeting sites where transmission and discussion of operations, training, and planning are conducted.
Basic
Qualifications:
-2 years of experience with operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting CISCO VTC equipment
-2 years of experience with operating and maintaining VTC equipment on the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Video Services Global Network (DVS-G).
-2 years of experience with maintaining and troubleshooting Non-classified Internet Protocol Router (NIPRNet) and Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPRNet) computers
-Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining Christie projectors, Creston and AMX displays, Titan projectors, cabling, video splitters, multiplexors, televisions, video walls, microphones, and other related VTC and audio visual equipment
-Knowledge of security measures necessary to install and operate secure internet computers and networks
-Ability to demonstrate critical analysis and collaborate with senior military and civilian staff
-Secret clearance
-AA or AS degree or 5 years of experience with VTC equipment, secure and non-secure internet protocol systems, consulting leadership regarding optimal use of meeting equipment and sites while in a secure environment in lieu of a degree
-CompTIA A or CompTIA Network Certification
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with designing and building NIPRNet and SIPRNet computer networks
-Experience with Air Force information technology systems on JBER and AK
-Experience with satellite communication systems
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-AA or AS degree in CS
