We are currently seeking an AutoPlant Piping Designer for one of our top clients in Anchorage, AK, a multi- disciplined EPC company that provides engineering services to the oil and gas, mining and power industries. We are looking for long term employees (possibly up to a year and could run as long as two years depending on the workload), expected 40 hours per week.
AutoPlant Piping Designer
Responsibilities:
Working in a team environment with engineers and other disciplines
Designing piping layouts, fixed and rotating equipment layouts
Prepare equipment data sheets or engineering drawing as applicable
Coordinating work with other disciplines
P&ID; development, equipment configuration and specification
Vendor's documents and drawings review
Qualifications:
Piping Design experience, with a minimum 8
years of experience design and drafting
Associate Degree in Technical Engineering from an accredited program or equivalent years of design experience
BP oil and gas experience and BP's EDDIE Documentation System experience preferred
Bentley AutoPlant 2D or 3D experience required (minimum 4 years)
Petrochemical Industry experience
Alaska experience, and Arctic Climate design experience preferred
