Summary:
The Senior Systems Engineer receives authority from and is directly responsible to the President. This position is responsible for planning, design, directing, and commissioning of Micro turbine CHP/DG energy projects to ensure that projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. It's also responsible for commissioning, teaching, sales support, and appropriate aspects of contracts; including scope development, budgeting, project execution, and supervising staff as it relates to the CHP/DG energy market business. This position is directly responsible to customers for Turbine CHP/DG service, troubleshooting and warranty repairs.

This position will coordinate with other Chenega companies and with other firms and organizations to pursue and develop winning projects in Combined Heat and Power and Distributed Generation renewable/sustainable construction markets.
This person must be skilled in teaching/training, analyzing and supervising Micro turbine systems.
This person will continue building on our established favorable reputation to develop new relationships and partnerships, and reinforce existing business relationships.
This position also includes gathering competitive data to help Chenega Energy develop products and strategies to grow with the market.

Minimum Qualifications : (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in a power production related field. Minimum 9 years of experience in Combined Heat and Power Distributed Generation systems as it relates to Micro turbine technology. Thorough understanding of safety procedures and damage control operations in a power plant environment. Must be experienced in Oil & Gas field construction and power plant production protocol.
Advanced Electronics training, Certified to work on Alaska's North Slope, and American Gas & Oil Rigs. Other certificates and licenses to be approved by President.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have advanced working knowledge of Micro Turbine control software, and a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), scheduling software and Outlook.
