Purpose of Position
:
Provide the engineering of Managed Broadband Services network facilities to support Managed Broadband Services products and network management systems.
Essential Duties of Position:
25%- Implement wide and local area network facilities
25%-Network design and documentation
25%-Level 2 Technical escalations / Event Management / Network Operations
10%-Project plans / estimates
10%-Train and assist Network Administrators in service delivery and maintenance
5%-Other duties as assigned
Job
Qualifications:
Five (5) years' experience as a Data Network Administrator or equivalent job description
Bachelor's degree in Computer Technologies, Electrical Engineering or related field required (experience may substitute for the education on a year for year basis)
Cisco Systems Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) required (additional experience as a Network Engineer or alternate certifications may substitute for specified certification requirement)
Understanding of standard systems engineering concepts such as high availability, redundancy, reliability and testing, security and standards
Demonstrated knowledge in CISCO IOS routers and switches
Experienced in diagnosis of Layer-2 and Layer-3 data network problems
Demonstrated knowledge of IP address nomenclature and meaning, IP protocols, IP routing, MPLS, CISCO router and switch components and facilities
Knowledge of Windows NT / 2000 / XP and/or Linux operating systems
Strong verbal, written and telephone communication skills required
Ability to create and edit network drawings using VISIO application
Ability to provide training to Team members on Technology
Physical Requirements:
Primarily office work
Some travel to remote locations across the state of Alaska and Washington where indoor and outdoor work may be required
Physical effort may include stooping, kneeling, touching, feeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, using hand tools and repetitive motions
Clarity of vision to see near, mid-range, and color
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to occasionally work in cramped spaces and at heights, on remote client and customer facilities
Ability to tolerate temperature and weather extremes (fumes and odors, dust, low light conditions, intermittent weather)
Driving Requirements
:
Driver's license, current insurance and reliable automotive transportation in Anchorage bowl required. Must be able to drive when in remote communities and operate ATV-style vehicles if necessary.
Position reports to:
Operations Engineering Manager, Managed Broadband Services. Position has no direct reports.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
