Responsibilities:
We're looking for someone who:
Is excited to work in an outpatient setting, much like a doctor's office.Enjoys a consistent schedule.Likes to chat-you won't be physically moving patients in this role, but you will be having conversations with them all day.To thrive in this role, you must be able to:
Administers medications as ordered/prescribed by a CMS medical providerFollows all medical provider ordersMonitors behavioral patterns, medical symptoms, and physical symptoms related to dosage, as well as other symptoms related to drug use (both licit and illicit) and mental health concernsObtains vital signs, blood specimens, and urine samplesProcesses point of care urine drug screens per company policyPrepares take-home medication (n/a in Montana)Monitors medication administration closely to prevent diversionReports diversion to proper internal authoritiesMaintains accurate client records in company's EHR systemDocuments medication errors and responds to adverse medical reactions per company policyArranges temporary incoming and outgoing courtesy dosing clientsDelivers medications to external facilitiesOrders necessary dosing room and nursing-related suppliesOrders necessary medications (n/a in Montana)Maintains accurate medication inventory recordsAdheres to all federal, state, local, and accrediting body regulationsAdministers CPR, if necessaryParticipates in continuing education and/or other job-related trainingAdheres to and enforces company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Licensed LPN or RN in state of employmentCPR Certification RequiredAbility to travel to assigned CMS sitesExperience in the field of substance use disorders preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of the signs of intoxication and opioid withdrawal symptomsDemonstrates accuracy in medication administration and ability to maintain accurate client records Recommended Skills Auditing Cpr Content Management Courtesy Nursing Intoxication Apply to this job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
