Home Care Assistance is seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregivers to join our team for the Anchorage area.
The ideal candidate must have a clean background, a valid driver's license, and insurance.
Must have Caregiving experience and have open availability to work.
This position requires a Caregiver who is comfortable with constant redirection, dementia behaviors, and being out in the community running errands and shopping with the client.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to work a 3 day or 4 day shift as a live in Caregiver.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, meal preparation and cooking and cleaning.

Accompany clients to appointments and outings, including grocery shopping and doctor's visits.
Be comfortable and able to adjust to the client's changing needs and tend to personal care.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare professional.
Requirements:
Clean background CPR/ First Aid Certification - BLS Preferred Valid driver's license and insurance Female preferred.
Ability to work 3 to 4 days at a time as a live in Caregiver Comfortable with constant redirection and being out in the community running errands and shopping Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and follow instructions High school diploma or equivalent We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
