We are looking for a PDI New Car Technician to join our Reconditioning team.
This is not an entry level position, pay for this position will be $18-20.
00 hourly depending on experience.
Essential job duties will include:
Perform servicing on new vehicles according to company required procedures and utilizing the delivery checklist.
Inspect new vehicle deliveries from transporter for damages and/or missing parts and complete the delivery receipt as required by the manufacturer.
Performs pre delivery inspections on all vehicles.
Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as fluid level checks and airing up tires.
Add accessories as needed, including placing dealership license plates on vehicle.
Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipment when needed.
Keeps work area clean, empties trash, etc.
Requires being at work on time and have satisfactory attendance.
Any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Candidate must have basic computer knowledge, ability to work well with others, neat and clean, appearance, basic mechanical knowledge, positive attitude and be able to listen and follow directions.
Candidate should perform duties with little or no supervision, read and comprehend instructions and information, be able to work weekends and overtime.
Individual should be honest, ethical, dependable and a team player.
Work is performed indoors in a shop environment, tool usage includes mechanic's hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force, standing and walking will be required for entire work shift in order to complete job duties.
Pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling will be required frequently to access all parts of vehicles being worked on.
Lifting as well as pushing and pulling weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds occasionally required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
