Description Manager in Training (MIT):
What Does It Take To Be A Property Manager? The MIT position is an entry level position.
It requires an energetic and driven individual with a passion for working with people, and the desire to take full ownership of a multi-million dollar community.
Your primary objective is to develop the skills required for consistently meeting monthly income and expense budgets for your community.
From customer service to annual budgets, marketing to maintenance, you will become familiar with all aspects of residential property management.
The successful MIT will accomplish this objective by actively engaging with onsite teams as well as participating in class room training modules geared towards making you the best at what you do.
Key Learning Objectives:
Sales and Marketing:
Learn how to target the ideal customer for your individual property, and the sales techniques that go into closing the deal Establish a Budget:
Working with both accounts receivable and payable, learn how to create and manage an operating budget for your property Projections:
Through the use of an effective marketing plan, and careful monitoring of your budget, learn how to make monthly financial projections for your property Facility Maintenance:
Become familiar with the maintenance needs of a multi-million dollar rental property.
From the beautification of its landscaping, to the efficiency of its utilities, learn how effective maintenance impacts and improves your bottom line
Qualifications:
Entry level position - no experience in property management is preferred Ability to work in a fast paced professional environment Have excellent interpersonal communication skills Excellent salesmanship and customer service abilities Highly organized Excellent time management abilities Excellent problem solving skills Must have a Bachelor's Degree to qualify for program Job Type:
