Superior outcomes and saving lives feels good, it's why we do what we do! Under supervision of a psychiatrist, the TMS Technician assists in the provision of patient care and related activities as permitted by state or payor regulations.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Providing educational consultations to interested patients Delivering TMS treatment to patients Maintain accuracy in documentation Providing a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions Carry Out Intake Procedures per Business Office Guidelines o Assure patient completion of Intake Forms.
o Distribute Notice of Privacy Practices & obtain signed Privacy Acknowledgement o Input patient information into the computer Provide Patient Service Functions o Manage all incoming calls and message distribution.
o Receive & document referrals.
o Schedule patients o Answer or redirect general billing or service questions/complaints.
o Provide general service orientation to patients.
o Assist with documents and complete 'requests for records'.
Schedule appointments for the staff members.
Receive and document onsite and mailed payments from patients.
Prepare correspondence and clinical reports as requested.
Document and refer patient billing account problems to Practice Manager Abide by all facility policies and procedures and educational requirements.
Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations training, and instruction requirements, as well as any other standards that govern healthcare services.
Perform other duties as assigned and permitted by law and training.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
