Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.
The Payroll Specialist provides services to Hope support recipients through their work in performing payroll accounting functions including reviewing and processing timecards, preparing disbursements, mileage and other payroll related record keeping.
This position provides assistance to, and receives direction from, the Senior Payroll Specialist.
The Payroll Specialist maintains loyalty to the organization, its beliefs, values, mission, vision, and expectations and to the recipients of services.
Education and Experience 1.
Associate degree in Accounting or related field required.
Experience in lieu of education may be accepted on a two for one basis in appropriate fields.
2.
Two years of experience in payroll preparation in a facility with at least a 250-person payroll required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
