CNA (Per Diem) - Transitional Care

This is a per diem/on call position supporting Transitional Care.
Job DescriptionThe Certified Nursing Assistant performs basic routine nursing duties/tasks which do not require professional training and education.
These duties/tasks center around the resident by assisting them in all activities of daily living.
The CNA performs under the supervision of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) at all times.
Providence Transitional Care Center has a total of 52 beds with a good mix of acute stay residents vs.
Long Term Care.
This unit is about stability and the work is fun and challenging.
It has 12-18 Medicare beds.
Required Qualifications Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications 6 months - Experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or private care-giver.
