Responsibilities:
The Role We are looking to hire a highly efficient driver helper to assist company drivers with all deliveries.
Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To Loading and unloading company products Completing accurate delivery records and reports Reporting all delivery-related problems to senior staff Effectively communicating with clients and customers Assisting with the unloading of the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift.
Obtaining clients' and customers' signatures as an acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.
Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
Performs other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed Peripheral Duties:
Tasks and special projects as assigned by Transportation Supervisor
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs frequently Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment for up to 8 hours per shift Ability to work as a team member-works as a co-worker Communicator- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently Ability to work independently Ability to follow written or verbal instructions Ability to solve routine problems and solve basic math Ability to understand and follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams Warehouse experience helpful but not necessary Riding pallet Jack experience preferred, not required Hear from Charlie's employees Supplemental Information This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
