Flight Operations Support Coordinator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Ravn Alaska Flight Operations Coordinator is responsible for evaluating and maintaining the Electronic Flight Bag program, assisting with Crewmembers payroll, processing Expense Reports, and other admin duties assigned by the Flight Operations Office Manager.
The successful candidate must have strong computer skills (knowledge of Airline Ops systems and processes) along with good communication and documentation skills.
Other responsibilities aligned with Ravn Alaska Core Values include but are not limited to:
Upholding safety by providing the utmost knowledge and support in maintaining pertinent data for EFB program and users.
Demonstrating commitment through by coordinating with Technical Publications department to ensure the latest manual revisions and documents are available, regularly auditing the Electronic Manual System to ensure all documents are current, and assisting Crewmembers with issues regarding their EFB, Expense Reports, and payroll.
Acting with integrity when evaluating new software and managing implementation process or when coordinating software developers, digital service providers, and device manufacturers.
Embodying the spirit of connectedness when coordinating with Tech Publications, Flight Operations and Flight Crew on the latest revisions and offering support to the team where needed.
Showing reliability through ensuring the EFB program meets all applicable regulatory requirements as well as the operational and commercial needs of the Company.
In addition, providing support to communicating with Crewmembers and having tasks completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Promoting commitment by engaging in courteous and respectful interactions with customers, supervisors, co-workers, and business associates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSThe successful candidate will have a preferred one (1) year of experience troubleshooting and loading software on computers, possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent research, planning and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Other qualifications include:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Must have at least one year of customer service experienceMust have the ability to accurately learn EFB requirements and regulations, aviation experience preferred.
Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and IOS systems.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a timely manner.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a public setting, while maintaining focus around multiple employees and distractions.
Must always display a professional demeanor, even during stressful and complicated situations.
Must maintain a strong work ethic and be neat in appearance.
Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
