Pay for our Customer Care Specialist starts at $23.
50 per hour.
The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to all members/customers, both internal and external, by meeting their needs in a timely and accurate fashion.
This position is the first point of contact for customer inquiries.
They will work in the council store and provide customer service to members/customers via phone and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
This position works cross-functionally with other departments toward achieving the council's strategic vision, short- and long-term plans, and project work.
This position works in our Anchorage Council office and will be scheduled primarily during normal business hours.

You Need:
Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and virtual delivery.
Experience developing and implementing action plans to meet/exceed deliverables.
Experience working collaboratively to reach collective goals.
Strong computer and technology skills with the ability to learn new programs quickly, including our GSAK database system.
To satisfactorily pass a background check.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Our offices are not easily accessible by the public transportation system.
You Will:
Quickly and effectively solve customer problems.
Triage customer communications and forward when appropriate.
Tackle problems by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
Sit at a desk and work on a computer and talk on the phone for long periods of time.
Use a variety of computer software to include Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Power Point, Word, and Excel), Salesforce and Looker platforms.
Manually operate office equipment.
Lift and carry at least 35 lbs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
