The Learning and Development Program within the Division of Personnel & Labor Relations is offering an incredible opportunity for a career as a Training Specialist 2! The Learning and Development Program delivers exceptional job experiences and provides an outstanding platform for career development.
Learning & Development (L&D) provides professional supervisory, leadership, and performance management training for State of Alaska employees.
What you will be doing:
As a Training Specialist 2 in the Learning & Development Program, with a background that provides a solid foundation in training adult learners, you will deliver professional training courses and workshops using numerous instructional techniques and designs under a variety of circumstances.
These courses are delivered both in-person across the State of Alaska as well as virtually.
You will also design, develop and revise course materials to meet the Learning & Development program needs.
Course development includes but is not limited to scoping, writing course documents, learning objectives, instructor outlines, student guides, classroom exercise and job aids.
You will work to create online interactive content using the Articulate platform or a similar software that builds SCORM content.
This includes but is not limited to script writing, voice recording, creating draft outlines for review and publishing course content into AspireAlaska (i.
e.
, the State's Learning Management System).

Special Note:
This position requires frequent travel within the State (normally one trip of up to a week in length quarterly.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
