The Business Development Specialist will develop relationships with customers and the Guardian team.
The work includes travel and fluctuating hours.
JOB DUTIESThe Business Development Specialist will report directly to the Director of Business Development.
Below is a list of the tasks, responsibilities, and expectations that Business Development Specialist will be responsible for on a daily and weekly basis.
TasksDevelop, implement, and control marketing/public relation campaigns and eventsCreate and develop marketing literature, touch-points, and corporate information for given market areasBuild and sustain productive and profitable relationships with key decision makers, medical professionals, and community leaders through a variety of mediums including; personal visits, presentations, written communications, corporate literature, promotional events, etc.
Prepare and deliver organization presentations to large and small bodies of medical professionals and civic leadersSeek out new opportunities for growth and developmentAssist the business development team or take lead in the conceptual design and layout of brochures, information guides, website, calendars, newsletters, social media and other promotional and PR itemsActively participate in strategic planning and weekly Business Development Meetings with Business Development Team to determine direction, needs, opportunities, and actionEvaluate statistical trends and take actions accordinglyImplement and control competitive intelligence effortsEthical to grow flight volume and market shareParticipate in company QA/QI activitiesOther duties as assignedExpectationsMeasurable increases in flight volume in specific markets as well as company wideMeasurable increases in market share in specific markets as well as company wideModerate travel, which will require overnight stay and occasional weekends.
