Senior GIS Developer
As a Senior GIS Developer with Resource Data, you'll help design and develop geospatial data and geospatial solutions that elevates enterprise geospatial systems efficiency, performance, and value.

Come join our team!Job ResponsibilitiesIntegrates non-spatial applications with geospatial informationDesigns and builds GIS applications and automated workflowsDesigns and builds Enterprise GIS databasesAnalyzes end user needs to develop solutions following specificationsTroubleshoots issues with minimal guidance, identifies bottlenecks in existing data workflows and provides solutions for a scalable, defect-free applicationExecutes assigned project tasks within established schedule and budgetPerforms quality assurance of analysis, software, code, testing, and technical documentation.
Uses advanced technical skills in programming and dataPrepares accurate estimates, writes proposals, and understands architectural trade-offs necessary for project successWork with clients and project teams to assist with GIS-related technical issues and support their geospatial needsRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience with Geospatial data management, development, and maintenanceExperience in software development or testing, including testing automation and the development of test plansExperience with enterprise GIS setup and development including ArcSDEExperience with GIS data migration projectsExperience with AWS and AzureExperience with ArcGIS Online and PortalDevelopment experience with SQLProficient with complex GIS concepts such as Geometric Networks, Topology, Spatial Joins, Spatial ProjectionsAbout Resource DataStarting in Alaska 35 years ago, Resource Data has grown to about 185 professionals in 5 offices across the United States.
