Summary/ObjectiveThe Information Technology (IT) Director is responsible for developing and maintaining the technological operations of the Foundation.
The position focuses on strategic implementation of large-scale technology efforts, ongoing assessment and improvement of systems, vendor performance, and help desk support.
This position works with the staff to accomplish goals, including a vibrant, collaborative work cultureEssential Responsibilities Directs planning and implementation of new technology and systems upgrades.
Oversees information security processes to ensure data integrity, system availability, and access management.
Manages technology procurement and maintenance to provide optimal, efficient, and cost-effective IT support for Foundation operations.
Reviews systems development project requests and coordinates/schedules work effort to meet objectives without unnecessary disruption of activities.
Responsible for procurement selection for Foundation telecommunications and IT equipment, software, and training.
Provides technical direction for SharePoint and database management Provides operational direction for IT equipment inventory tracking.
Provides end user onsite assistance to Foundation staff and Board members as needed.
Qualifications Alignment with the Foundation's mission and vision.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience supporting IT operations in a professional office environment.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to master applications and software utilized by the Foundation.
Experience working with foundations, nonprofit leadership, nonprofit, or corporate boards preferred.
Project management experience preferred.
Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience and/or documented technical training can substitute.
Position Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High proficiency with office management systems and procedures, standard office equipment and collaborative software including Microsoft Office, Teams and others.
Self-motivated, strong organizational skills, ability to manage several projects at once.
Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with co-workers.
Strong problem-solving skills.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
