Acts as an ambassador and first point of contact forall Chugach employees, shareholders, customers and vendors who visit or call the Corporate office; ensuring all receive prompt, courteous customer service.
Provides a wide array of administrative and operational support.
This individual will have the opportunity to engage in special assignments and projects designed to increase their knowledge of the Chugach organization and enhance career development and growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & JOB FUNCTIONS:
Answers multi-line phone and takes messages or directs inquiries as needed.
Checks and responds to voice mail and office e-mail.
Maintains company phone list/directory, office calendar of events and updates other assigned databases and lists.
Welcomes guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
Ensures JL Tower visitors are signed in with appropriate badge access according to the visitor's policy.
Acquires knowledge of Chugach companies, business operations and personnel.
Programs identification/access badges and maintains employee badge files, yearly badge audit, badge spreadsheets and documents.
Tracks and issues office, desk and other keys.
Schedules Chugach and JL Tower conference rooms as requested.
Provides assistance for quarterly Board and other meetings.
Drafts facility notices utilizing standard templates for maintenance, safety and building event notifications.
Serves as an active member of the Emergency Action Team.
Participates in the Chugach Employee Engagement Team as a facilities representative.
Point of contact for Chugach for onsite Records Transfer List (RTL) assistance.
Works with all departments to RTL records boxes for storage at the warehouse.
Scans paper files for electronic storage as directed.
Sorts, date stamps, and distributes all incoming mail and other interoffice mail, and picks up and delivers all freight carrier packages.

Ensures confidential handling of all items retained or delivered.
Serves as product expert and primary point of contact for all mail, mail supply and postage related inquiries.
Provides administrative support to staff including scheduling, posting mail, using postage machine, packaging and sending outgoing packages.
Orders all USPS and other freight carrier supplies, as needed.
Maintains department mail binders, employee mailboxes, and mail carts.
Cleans and maintains all breakroom small appliances as directed, to include scheduling required maintenance and repair.
Cleans and stocks conference and break rooms.
Takes pride in the appearance of the reception area, conference and break rooms, ensuring such spaces are clean, orderly, well stocked and maintained.
Reviews the facilities management work order system to identify necessary tasks and priorities as they pertain to projects assigned to the CAC Facilities Management team.
Provides notary service for employees and shareholders.
Performs related office duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Professional Associations):
MANDATORY:
Chugach Alaska Corporation Shareholder or descendant of a Shareholder.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Six (6) months of administrative/office experience.
Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Courteous and professional demeanor, reliable and punctual attendance.
Knowledge Of:
Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level; general administrative duties, common practices, and office equipment; basic project management tools and techniques.
Ability To:
maintain strict confidence; balance multiple tasks and deal with interruptions; communicate effectively orally and in writing with a broad audience; maintain good working relationships with coworkers; maintain a positive attitude while using problem-solving skills and resourcefulness to overcome challenging situations.
PREFERRED:
Associates degree in Business Administration or related field.
Knowledge of Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) corporations and experience working in a multicultural environment.
Recommended Skills Administration Audio Equipments Auditing Business Administration Claim Processing Communication Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
