It will serve as the point of contact for escalation, troubleshooting, and addressing technical issues on user devices and infrastructure equipment.
This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests.
Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostics and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give hands-on help or communicate solutions to end-users through telephone or email.
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent, and/or 1-year work experience in related field required.
Preferred certifications include one of the following:
Microsoft, Cisco, GSuite, or PowerSchool.
Must have a valid Alaska driver's license.
Example of Duties Order, inventory and maintain all Raven Homeschool technology needs.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, network, wireless, video, printer/copier, & VoIP issues.
Monitors phone line and generates support tickets as necessary.
Assists in tracking support tickets until resolved, including regular follow-ups and escalation.
Set up and configure hardware and install new software on district computers/tablets.
Assists team in maintaining MDM solution for staff and student devices.
Maintains an accurate inventory of Raven Homeschool computer hardware and software.
Assists team in monitoring network services and connectivity status.
Maintain technology support knowledge base to ensure all documentation is up to date and relevant.
Add/Change/Delete user accounts and passwords.
Coordinates and/or provides training to teachers and staff in the use of current technology to meet curriculum goals.
Remains technically competent.
Continues to grow as a professional technology support specialist.
Other duties as assigned.
