Pay Rate:

Summary:
The Automotive Detail Team Manager oversees the productivity of the detail bay and provides quality control to ensure vehicles are available for rent at Alaska Auto Rental standards.
The successful candidate for this role will have a high level of attention to detail, be task oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and be motivated to help and teach others.
Responsibilities:
The Automotive Detail Team Manager performs a variety of tasks to oversee the operation of the detail bay and maintain vehicle cleaning standards.
General responsibilities include the following tasks:
Train and lead detailers to excel in their roles.
Create a daily vehicle cleaning plan and track detail bay productivity.
Ensure vehicle cleaning procedures and standards are followed.
Maintain Inventory of detail bay cleaning supplies and equipment.
Maximize the productivity of vehicles prepped through the detail bay.
Wash/detail vehicle interior and exteriors.
Thoroughly inspect vehicles to document any damages before rentals.
Perform computer data entry and reporting.
Follow key-handling procedures to ensure vehicle keys are stored properly.
Oversee the delivery and retrieval of vehicles to and from offsite locations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Work as a team with all applicable departments.
Transport vehicles in a safe and legal manner.
Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications:
Must have prior management experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a current driver's license and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
Must provide a copy of driving record.
Must be punctual.
Must consistently display a positive attitude.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess good problem solving skills.
Must possess good basic math skills.
Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
Must be teachable by being a good listener and willing to continually learn new skills.
Must be able to follow a list of instructions and complete them in order.
Must be a team player, willing to solve differences cooperatively with other team members.
Must not use profanity in the workplace.
Must not use tobacco or marijuana products in the workplace.
Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
