Project HSE Management System (HSE MS) Coordinator
Industry Oil & Gas - Onshore Oil Function Project Management Job Type Contract Date Added April 19, 2024 Airswift is working with a leading Oil and Gas company to find a Project HSE Management System to join their team in a long termcontract in Anchorage, AK with benefits.Assignment Scope:
Seeking an individual to serve as a Project HSE Management System (HSE MS) Coordinator. The individual will be responsible for supporting the Alaska business Unit with effective implementation and coordination of the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System. The role will actively engage with various stakeholders to (1) identify all documents that are in scope (2) establish/verify document owners (3) propose and establish a review schedule (4) compare current business unit documents against corporate standards and (5) assist with streamlining current process for reviewing and approval of programs and procedures under the HSE MS. The position will report directly to the Kuparuk HSE Director during the early project phases of this multi-year project and will eventually transfer to the Anchorage HSE Director once a process has been fully established. The successful candidate will work with leaders at all levels.Responsibilities and skills:
o Drives thoughtful and pragmatic change, inspires innovative thinking and continuous improvement, and models adaptability through resourcefulness, flexibility, and positivityoAdvanced level of proficiency with planning, organizing, and conducting multiple concurrent projects and activitieso Listens actively and invites new ideas for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive positive performance and achieve resultsoAdvanced level of proficiency writing and editing technical documents and proceduresoFacilitation of current Procedure Review Committee (PRC) for business unit programs and proceduresoLeading and participating in the review, development, and implementation of the HSE Management Systemo Providing consultation and technical support to document owners supporting the HSE Management SystemoMaintaining a working knowledge of the HSE Management System, and developing innovative solutions to solve complex HSE issuesoBuilds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goalso Supporting and/or participating in the HSE auditing process whether it be preparing for an external audit or participating in an internal audit (Tier 2 or contractor audit)Preferred
Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree or higher in Safety, Environmental Sciences, Project Management or other related field, or foreign equivalentoPossess Usability Mapping skills or have a willingness to become a Usability Mapping technical authorityo5
years of experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office, etc.oAdvanced level of proficiency to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.oAdvanced level of proficiency with learning new technologies quickly and using them in data analytics solutionsoAssociate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) a plus Don't see a job for you?
