Summary:
The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management through providing consultative support and partnership on human resource-related issues.
The HRBP assesses and anticipates Human Resources (HR) related needs, communicating and working with the HR team to develop integrated solutions.
The position develops partnerships across the HR function and organization to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the objectives of the organization.
The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the organization's financial position, strategic plan, and culture
Responsibilities:
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES Acts as a primary point of contact and provides HR consulting services to managers and employees across all levels of the organization, including senior leaders.
Responsible for providing HR leadership for activities such as strategic staffing, employee relations consulting, performance management, organizational development initiatives, compensation planning and administration, change management, conflict management, training and development, and other functional areas.
Partners with managers to identify organizational needs and implementation of plans of action to achieve organizational goals and strategies.
Designs and facilitates continuous improvement initiatives specifically focused on increasing organizational, team, and individual performance throughout staff and line functions.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR leadership to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Collaborates within HR and oversees project work connected to the business units to ensure cohesive delivery of HR programs and services to the organization.
Promotes high performance through coaching and feedback integrated with the performance management review process.
Serves as an employee champion and agent of change through leveraging managers for sustaining increased engagement.
Identifies development solutions and opportunities for accelerating growth of employees and internal succession planning.
Partners with recruiting to hire for strategic competencies and reduce turnover rates.
Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS Knowledge of Alaska Tribal Health System, ANTHC, and Alaska Native culture(s).
Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Tribal Law, regulations, rules, policies, and processes.
Including substantial knowledge of relevant specialized fields such as Federal Indian Law and self-determination/self-governance, health law, employment law, and construction law.
Knowledge of state and federal laws (EEOC, compensation, FMLA, etc.
).
Skill in understanding complex business concepts and strategic alignment.

MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION A Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Progressively responsible professional work-related experience, education, or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION Non-supervisory - Five (5) years of progressive professional work experience in Human Resources.
MINIMUM CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATION PHR/SHRM-CP certification required; or be eligible to and obtain a certification with one (1) year from date of hire.
PREFERRED EDUCATION QUALIFICATION Master's degree in human resources or related field.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION HRIS experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
