The Division of Student Engagement and Inclusion (SEI) is new and the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) will transform programs, services and processes that support a vibrant campus life, co-curricular engagement, a deep sense of belonging and the personal and academic success of UAA's diverse student population.
UAA is a growing and maturing institution with new academic, established student affairs unit.
The AVC for SEI leads the SEI division, which includes:
Student Life and Leadership (Student Activities, Concert Board, Campus Programming Board, student clubs and Greek life, Emerging Leaders Program, student media, and student government), and the Military & Veteran Student Resource Center, Multicultural Center and Native Student Services.
The AVC for SEI reports to the Vice Chancellor for contribute to the infrastructure needed to:
institutionalize a more inclusive environment, improve the retention and completion rates for under-represented minority students, and increase the intercultural competency of students, faculty and staff through training and professional developement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
