Summary:
Senior-level application developer performs analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment of software applications developed for external clients or internal use.
May also be called upon to serve as technical lead for project teams.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

Works with Project Manager, Team Lead, and clients to obtain and analyze project specifications and flow charts Analyzes client's requirements to develop software solutions and determine the feasibility of the design within time and cost constraints Assists in writing proposals, developing cost estimates and in-house product development Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system Formulates and designs software system, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design Design and develop appropriate reports to client specifications Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation Consults with customer concerning maintenance of software systems Coordinates installation of software systems Conducts training sessions for client end users and administrative and support staff May serve as technical or team lead for project teams Non - Essential Duties:

Required Skills Qualifications - Experience, Education and Licensure:
Required:
4 year degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience Minimum 5 years application development experience Experience writing JavaScript and/or integrating popular JavaScript libraries such as ExtJS, jQuery Experience writing efficient SQL queries and stored procedures Extensive experience in one of more of the following technologies:
ColdFusion, ASP.
NET and C#, Flex, iOS Preferred:
Desktop and/or client/server application development experience GIS Experience, ArcObjects, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL Experience with PHP, Ruby on Rails, Drupal CMS Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to act independently as a team lead Able to creatively solve problems and find solutions Ability to work well in a team environment Effective verbal and written communication skills Physical Requirements:
Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent sitting with frequent opportunity to move about.
Working Conditions:
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
