POSITION
Summary:
Responsible for activities of all personnel assigned to the St Paul District. Performs other associated duties as assigned. Maintains liaison with other personnel and agencies required to support the Auto
mation systems. Daily administration of Exchange 20XX servers and Outlook Web Access (OWA) Microsoft SMS, MOM, SCCM, and WSUS administration Veritas BackupExec to conduct file server back up / restores (or use of ACE-IT supplied backup software) Proficient in hardware maintenance and troubleshooting of various vender server platforms including Dell, HP, etc, fiber switches and SANs. Maintain antivirus / security requirements by the US Army COE standards and regulations. All aspects of high level Systems Administration to include but not limit to Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange. Maintain Systems Availability and ensure regular maintenance on equipment. The position will be a direct report to the Central Regional Manager but will also receive direction from a District Supervisor. Performs other duties as required. MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Education/Certifications:
One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Associated Degree. Graduate of military or technical courses in the field of Information Technology preferred. This position requires DoDI 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification and corresponding Computing Environment certification. Must have at least one of the following:
Security+, GSEC, SCNP, or SSCP. Also must have one of the following CE certifications:
CCNP, CCVP, MCSE, MCITP.High school diploma required. 2 years college or equivalent experience preferred
Experience:
In addition to excellent oral and written communications skills, should have a minimum of six years of experience in managing, analyzing and troubleshooting networks to include the Microsoft Windows NT, 2000 & 2003 Server Operating System, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, and Microsoft Exchange applications. Senior Systems Administrators shall have experience in exercising network security requirements, establishing security protocols and procedures, and maintaining network security problems to full resolution. Skills:
Experience in supporting classified network SUPERVISORY/BUDGET
