Senior Trainer - Full Time - Education, Development and Training Tracking Code 20130787 Job Description JOB SUMMARY Develops and implements training and development programs to achieve strategic business goals and objectives for ANTHC.
Programs may include competency development, development planning, leadership development, career development programs, and skills training.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES Conducts the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of ANTHC.
Aligns training programs with organization development needs and vision of ANTHC.
Benchmarks best practices and applies various learning methods for adult learners, including lecture, instructor led-exercises, e-learning, and blended learning.
Performs train-the-trainer training and assists in developing the skill level of trainers and guest presenters.
Participates in the development of leadership competency models and the creation and implementation of a leadership development training program.
Performs other duties as assigned.
ADDENDUM REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES Conducts and schedules meetings, speakers, presentations, training, conference rooms, and equipment; develops and administers agendas, activity calendar, curriculum, materials, forms, certificates, evaluations, advertisements, competency assessment, and learning objectives.
Coordinates mentorship, volunteer, job shadow and field trip opportunities.
Required Skills Knowledge of Alaska Native cultures and the Alaska Tribal Health System.
Knowledge of policies, procedures, laws and regulations applicable to training.
Knowledge of customer service concepts and practices.
Knowledge of effective presentation and public speaking skills.
Knowledge of measurement, data gathering, reporting, and analysis.
Knowledge of principles of the systematic approach to training design and development.
Knowledge of adult learning principles.
Knowledge of office and audio/visual equipment.
Knowledge of principles and practices of budgeting.
Knowledge of developing education and training curriculum, learning objectives, competency assessment and evaluations.
Skill in working independently and responding to changing priorities.
Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
