Job Description:
Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites.
May operate hand and power tools of all types:
air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, erect scaffolding, perform basic carpentry, install piling, install materials such as drywall, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials.
May assist or work under other craft workers.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills Must demonstrate the ability to perform all assigned duties in a proficient manner.
Must maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
Must be willing to work safely and follow all company policies.
Work independently with minimal supervision and complete assigned daily tasks Work well with in a team setting Proficient with all construction hand and power small tools.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures such as highways and roads.
Must be able to have good motion of range for body and limbs Be able to reach in all directions Handle and manipulate objects and material Coordinate the movement of eyes, hands, feet and fingers to complete assigned tasks Must have good balance while working on uneven surfaces and maneuvering obstacles.
Must be able to work in arctic conditions Must be able to follow directions Ability to perform duties and operation of tools of the trade in strict compliance with OSHA rules.
Ability to interact with both co-workers and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
Required Experience Must possess and maintain current driver s license.
Must have a punctual work history.
Must have a high school diploma or Equivalent Subject to pre-employment drug testing and random screening Work independently with minimal supervision and complete assigned daily tasks Must be able to have good motion of range for body and limbs Be able to reach in all directions Handle and manipulate objects and material Coordinate the movement of eyes, hands, feet and fingers to complete assigned tasks Lift 50-75 Lbs.
