Summary: Under limited supervision, executes a well-defined media strategy including various coordinated websites, consistent branding, and social media in support of organizational goals and objectives. Responsible for designing web pages, forms, gathering, manipulating, and inputting graphics, text, and other elements for interactive display on the Web.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
Manages and executes a well-defined media strategy including various coordinated websites, consistent branding, and social media that increases the company's product/brand awareness and generates inbound traffic.
Uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as websites and CD-ROMs.
Consults with users to implement changes to improve content and service. Determines layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts.
Updates and enhances the content of the websites, web applications and web pages, coordinating, tracking, and managing website projects, while serving as central point of contact and overseeing and ensuring quality of sites. Designs web pages, forms, and navigation schema, gathering, manipulating, and inputting graphics, text, and other elements for interactive display on the Web, using HTML coding.
Shoots and edits video for use in websites, social media, and other applications. Produces graphic sketches, designs, and copy layouts for online content. Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts.
Develops creative briefs and design concepts to meet the business objectives of the organization, establishing creative direction for the entire line of online services, products, and programs. Plans and prepares stories for online dissemination. Prepares page layouts to position and space articles and illustrations, and writes, edits, proofreads, and copyedits a variety of documents.
Evaluates, manages, and contributes to a variety of social media channels in an effort to achieve company objectives while ensuring a consistent marketing message and strengthening the company's position in the market.
Monitors media trends and prepares status reports on media initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Knowledge of applicable technologies.
Knowledge of Internet authoring and programming techniques.
Knowledge of video producing and editing
Knowledge of business English, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Skill in developing print materials.
Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.
Required Experience
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field from an accredited college or university. Progressively responsible professional work-related experience, education, or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Non-supervisory- Five (5) years of marketing media, including significant web development experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE QUALIFICATION
Requires the use of personal vehicle. Requires proof of insurance and a valid Alaska driver's license.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to work outside the traditional work schedule. May be called out to work off-shift in emergency situations.
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The following demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires persistent repetitive movements of the hands, wrists and fingers and the ability to sit for long periods of time. Requires routine walking, standing, stooping, reaching, stretching bending and carrying items. Must be able to lift and carry approximately 40 pounds. ANMC is not a latex free environment. Therefore, some latex exposure can be expected.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
