We are currently seeking a Material Planner for a prominent international Operator based out of Kuparuk, Alaska.
Our client is the 4th largest refiner worldwide, with operations in more than 30 countries and assets of $160 billion.
The Material Planner is the single point of contact for all materials related issues for the assigned client group.
These client groups can include drilling, construction, production facilities, chemicals, diesel, maintenance shops and many others.
Each planner is typically assigned a minimum of 5 client groups.
The Material Planner is responsible for:
Interacting daily with clients and field personnel including Facility Planners, Craft Leads & Operators, Engineers, Maintenance Personnel, Drilling Personnel, Vendors/Suppliers, Contractors, Warehouse Personnel and Supervisors; interaction examples include, work or job planning, daily tool box meetings, shop floor or control room demonstrations and interpretations and fuel dock computer system administration
Receiving, interpreting and processing client material requests; finding the requested material or suitable equivalents in stock; requesting material to be ordered from suppliers if not in stock
Forecasting and scheduling material needs and deliveries
Coordinating and expediting transportation
Inspecting material received on- site
Providing current material status updates to client groups
Reconciling materials post- job and identifying surplus material
Monitoring, replenishing, expediting and reconciling various material inventories
Arranging for repair of damaged/used material
Acting as the liaison between Procurement and direct field operations
Overseeing any assigned contract material coordinators
Schedule:
The current work schedule is either 7 days on / 7 days off or 14 days on / 14 days off
Basic:
Legally authorized to work in United States

years oilfield material experience
24/7 availability while onsite
Willing and able to work at a remote location on a rotational schedule
Preferred:
High school diploma/GED equivalent or college degree
10
years oilfield materials experience
Knowledge of North Slope operations and logistics
Extensive knowledge of Materials operations; extensive knowledge of material used in at least one of the following areas: Drilling and Wells, Facility Operations, Oilfield Construction, Chemicals, Fuels or Rotating Equipment Maintenance
Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
