Summary: Our client is a NON-NANA company who has requested NMS Staffing, a successful search firm in Anchorage,
alaska
, to seek out a dynamic individual for their Communications and External (CX) Affairs Contractor position.

Responsibilities:
The CX Contractor will work under the guidance of the CX Team, specifically managed by the CX UA Business Advisor, to provide CX support in the area of stakeholder relations.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Understanding company''s overall CX Plan and strategies for the 2014 Season
Follow company HSSE Policies and Procedures
Work under the direction of the CX UA Business Advisor and take direction on:
1. Engagement coordinator: Assist CX UA Business Advisor in planning and carrying out
community
meetings and visits in rural Alaska villages, especially the North Slope and Northwest Arctic regions. Ensure necessary community engagement records are kept.
2. Rural programs: Assist CX UA Business Advisor in managing Subsistence Advisor program (seasonal in North Slope/Northwest Arctic communities), Community Liaison Officer program (year-round in North Slope/Northwest Arctic communities) and Workforce development programs (with a significant budget).
3. Contribute to the broader Communications team efforts in support of company''s Alaska Venture activities.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor''s Degree and 5
years of communications, stakeholder or marketing experience.
Good communication skills
Knowledge of North Slope and Northwest Arctic communities
Self starter
Ability to work independently
Take direction and deliver on time
Prior experience in Oil and Gas industry preferred
